He earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Duke University in 2009 and went on to receive his Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2015.

Eric began his legal career at Richardson Plowden & Robinson, P.A., gaining experience in medical malpractice defense and complex litigation. Beyond his legal practice, Eric serves as the Executive Director of The Poston Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to education, empowerment, and community development. He is deeply involved in initiatives promoting justice, equality, and opportunity for underserved communities across South Carolina.

Eric believes that effective legal representation requires courage, strategy, and relentless advocacy. Whether fighting for civil rights, defending the accused, or navigating corporate law matters, he is committed to delivering results with integrity and determination.

In addition to his legal work, Eric expresses his creativity through music under the name Ducati James, using art as a tool for storytelling, social commentary, and empowerment.
